A vessel off Walkers Beach reported a flat battery and requested a jump start. Whakatane Rescue II responded. The engine was successfully started and the boat continued to Thornton. 

A boat 4nm West of White Is reported an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was tasked, located the vessel and towed it safely back to Whakatane. 

A boat reported 800m North of the Ohiwa Bar with a fuel problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue was tasked, took some fuel to the boat and escorted it back to Whakatane. 

A call was received from a boat at Ohiwa of a person in the water off a jetski. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist, picked up the person and returned to Whakatane. A big thank you to the good samaritan. 

Information was received about a boat approximately 25nm North of Whakatane with an electrics failure and taking on water. The boats EPIRB was activated and a position received. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist, located the vessel and towed it safely back to Whakatane..
