A boat reported off the Ohiwa Bar with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist, located the vessel and towed it safely back to Whakatane. 

A boat just west of the Raurimus reported  seeing a vessel sinking with 4 POB. Another 2 boats were assisting the people in the water..Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and made its way to area. The 4 people were brought back to Whakatane. A good outcome and a big thank you to the good samaritans.

A boat reported off Kohi Pt with a fuel problem. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist and the stricken vessel made its own way back across the Whakatane Bar. 

A boat reported at the Mussel Farm with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist and towed the boat back safely to Whakatane. 

A boat reported outside the Whakatane Bar with a steering problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked to assist and towed the boat back safely across the bar.
