A vessel North of Kohi Pt reported engine failure. Whakatane Rescue II responded and towed the boat back safely to Whakatane. 

A vessel North West of the Raurimus reported a drivechain failure and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the boat safely back to Whakatane. 

A boat reported 5km North of the Whakatane bar with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked, located the vessel and towed it safely back to Whakatane. 

A yacht reported In McEwans Bay off Motohoura Is that is was taking on water and requested immediate assistance. An All Stations call was made and a boat offered to help. The boat stayed with the stricken vessel until Whakatane Rescue II was launched, and arrived at the location. The stricken vessel was towed safely back to Whakatane. A big thank you to the good samaritan.
