A boat reported 2km North of the Whakatane Bar with a flat battery and requested a jump start. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked but the jump start was unsuccessful so the vessel was towed back to Whakatane.

A boat reported off Kohi Pt with a flat battery and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked but was unsuccessful with a jump start so towed the vessel back across the Whakatane Bar.

Ran aground – 10/09/2022 – 12:55 to 13:15

A boat was observed aground West of the Whakatane Bar Whakatane Rescue II assisted the vessel and towed it safely back across the Whakatane Bar.

Engine problem. – 10/09/2022 – 12:20 to 12:50

A boat reported off Kohi Pt with an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the vessel back safely across the Whakatane Bar.
