Engine problem – 01/01/2018 – 12:27 to 14:00

A boat reported off Ohope with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane.  An All Stations call resulted in a boat responding but was unable to locate the boat in trouble.  Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist, located the boat and towed it back to Whakatane.  Both boats arrived safely back in the harbour.  A big thank you to the Good Samaritan.
