Battery problem – 8/02/2025 1420 to 1520 (9)

A 7.5m aluminium boat with 2 POB reported halfway between Whale Is and Whakatane with a battery problem and requested assistance. Conditions were good with a low swell and a light wind from the Northwest. An All-Stations call was made which resulted in a vessel offering to help. A jump start was provided and both boats returned safely to Whakatane. A big thank you to the Good Samaritan.
