Engine problem – 01/14/2017 – 11:23 to 13:55

At 1123hrs a boat with 2 POB reported unable to start the engine.The vessel was at the 25m mark between Whale Is and the Whakatane Heads.Sea conditions were good with an outgoing tide a 5kt wind from the NNE and no significant swell.An All Stations call was made which resulted in another boat giving the affected boat a tow.Both boats arrived in the harbour at 1355hrs.A big thank you to the good samaritan.
