Electrical problem – 12/25/2017 – 9:40 to 12:50

At 0940hrs a jetski reported a yacht at anchor off the Tarawera River with an electrical problem and requesting assistance. 1 POB.  Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist.  Weather conditions were good with a 6kt wind from the South and no signigicant swell.  The yacht was located and towed back to Whakatane.  A big thank you to the jet skier.
