A boat outside the Ohiwa Bar reported an engine problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II located the vessel and towed it safely into Ohiwa Harbour.
A boat at the Tasman Reef reported a split fuel line and requested fuel. Whakatane Rescue II was launched, provided fuel and followed the vessel back to Whakatane.
A boat at the Radio Masts reported a flat battery. Whakatane Rescue II located the vessel , provided a jump start and followed the vessel back safely across the Whakatane Bar.
