A boat reported at the Raurimus with an engine problem. Unable to lower the engine into the water. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked, and provided a screwdriver. The motor was lowered into the water and the vessel proceeded safely back to Whakatane.
A boat reported at the Mussel Farm with a flat battery and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked, jump started the vessel and both boats returned safely back to Whakatane.
