A vessel at the Raurimus reported a fuel problem and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the boat back safely to Whakatane.

Engine problem – 03/15/2021 – 10:54 to 12:37

A boat off the Rangitaiki River Mouth reported an oil leak and requested assistance. Whakatane Rescue II responded and towed the vessel safely back to Whakatane.

Engine problem – 03/06/2021 – 15:33 to 16:48

A boat inbound to Whakatane under auxiliary power requested assistance to cross the Whakatane Bar. Whakatane Rescue II was tasked and towed the boat back safely into the harbour.
