A boat reported off the Whakatane Bar with a steering problem and requested a tow across the bar. Whakatane Rescue was tasked to assist and towed the boat back safety vack into the harbour.
A boat reported at the Raurimus with an engine problem and requested a tow back to Whakatane. Another boat heard the call and offered to heip. The vessel was located and towed safely back to Whakatane. A big thank you to the Good Samaritan.
